At The Gallery Fitted Kitchens, we pride ourselves on turning kitchen dreams into reality. When the Winwood family from Tettenhall, Wolverhampton, approached us with their vision for a traditional, yet functional, kitchen, we were thrilled to bring their ideas to life.
A Timeless kitchen design in Wolverhampton
The Winwood family chose a traditional in-frame kitchen style, featuring raised centre panels for a classic touch. To enhance the elegance, we incorporated Georgian-style glass unit doors, blending timeless charm with a practical design.
The kitchen colour palette revolved around taupe grey, a warm and inviting neutral tone that has become a contemporary favourite. The result? A sophisticated yet welcoming atmosphere that perfectly complements the home’s character.
Maximising space and functionality
This project was more than just a kitchen renovation; it was about creating a space that worked for the whole family. By designing an open-plan layout, we achieved a seamless flow while ensuring the kitchen was a hub for cooking, dining, and entertaining. To meet Olly and Co’s practical needs, we also built a utility space off the kitchen, complete with stacked washer and dryer, coat storage, and space for managing laundry. All keeping the main kitchen clean and clutter-free.
Luxury meets practicality: Stunning kitchen design
Every element of the kitchen was carefully selected to blend style with functionality:
- Worktops & Splashbacks: Durable Blanco Frost Quartz worktops paired with antique mirror splash-backs bring a touch of glamour.
- Feature Mantle & Island: A custom-built false mantle above the hob adds a traditional focal point, while the large central island provides ample workspace and ties the design together.
- Handles & Fixtures: Elegant chrome cup handles and knobs complete the look, while a chrome Quooker tap and under-mount ceramic sink offer modern convenience.
- Appliances: Ever-reliable Bosch appliances were integrated for seamless functionality.
The perfect foundation
No kitchen is complete without the right flooring. For the Winwood family, we installed herringbone oak flooring, enhancing the warmth and charm of the space while offering durability.
