Our latest kitchen design in Stourton: Traditional meets modern elegance
We’re excited to share our latest project in Stourton, on the scenic border between Stourton and Wollaston, where Stourbridge meets South Staffordshire.. The Howells family wanted a kitchen that would complement their new open-plan space. We delivered a design that blends traditional charm with modern functionality.
The Jefferson door design
The heart of this kitchen is the Jefferson door. This classic design features a raised centre panel and a grain-painted finish. The forest green colour contrasts beautifully with the porcelain accents. The raised centre panel adds texture and character to the timber doors; creating a sophisticated, inviting space.
The quintessentially traditional design of the Jefferson door with its raised centre panel and grain painted finish, exudes charm and sophistication.
A functional open-plan space
The Howells family wanted a kitchen that was both stylish and practical. We created a space that flows seamlessly with their living area. A false chimney breast houses the range cooker, adding warmth and character. The large island at the centre serves as a space for cooking, dining, and socialising. An antique mirror splashback reflects light, making the space feel more expansive.
Clever storage solutions
Smart storage was a priority for the Howells family. We designed a bi-folding pantry unit to hide away the microwave and other gadgets. This keeps the kitchen tidy while ensuring everything is easily accessible. The Quooker tap delivers instant boiling water for cooking and cleaning. A wine cooler adds luxury and convenience, whether for special occasions or everyday use.
Surfaces and lighting
The kitchen features durable Quartz worktops; offering a sleek, modern finish. Tiled flooring completes the look, providing a clean, cohesive feel. Pendant lights above the island combine functionality and style, drawing attention to the central feature of the kitchen.
A kitchen for modern living
This deep forest green kitchen mixes traditional design with modern features. It offers timeless elegance, smart storage, and top-quality appliances to meet the Howells family’s needs.
