We like to show you a selection of our latest fitted kitchen projects. So you can get a more accurate idea of how each style looks and works in real-life. Showrooms and virtual tours are one thing, but seeing the fitted kitchens in-situ demonstrates the real thing and hopefully helps you visualise the change we could make in your home.

Recently we had the pleasure of fitting a German-style fitted kitchen in the village of Hagley, Worcestershire. Here are the results.
The brief
Customers, Wes and Michael, were looking for something that made the most of the available space, without need for a knock-through or extension. The brief was for smart and modern design, with enduring style.
The greatest obstacle in this project was the transformation of the existing space. When the couple moved into their new build home a few years ago, the kitchen was poorly designed. Thankfully, our experienced fitters have worked with a variety of spaces and challenges over the years and were soon able to convert the space to suit the couple’s requirements.

German-Style fitted kitchens
The distinctive German kitchen style is growing in popularity thanks to its sleek but practical, high-performance design. The units of German kitchen styles are typically handleless, the finish modern and streamlined, and the quality superior. We were confident that once we’d made the necessary modifications to Wes and Michael’s kitchen space, the German-style fitted kitchen would meet and exceed their needs.
The very best materials and refined detailing
As one of our latest kitchens in and around Kidderminster, this beauty boasts a real wood veneer, cross-scratched for extra depth and detail. The wood is then stained with the couple’s choice of shade – carbon – for a neat and tasteful finish. Wes and Michael opted for Dekton worktops with a sturdy but not overdone island depth of 80mm. The island has a practical pocket door unit for bar area seating.

The addition of a Dekton table top, also in 80mm, matches the island and ensures smooth visual continuity throughout the kitchen. Their German-style fitted kitchen also benefits from complementary full-height and surround splashbacks, cladding the entire surface on the hob run. This makes the area as functional and easy to clean, as it is visually appealing.

We fitted a Quooker boiling tap – increasingly popular thanks to their energy efficiency and remarkable convenience. Not to mention a distinctive stainless steel Blanco composite sink.
Wes and Michael chose Smeg Dolce Stil Novo ovens with copper trims and matching hob. Clean design lines, the very best materials and refined detailing make this Smeg range the perfect match for this German-style fitted kitchen.
The right floor can really make the difference between a good kitchen, and a superb can-we-feature-this-on-our-blog kitchen. Karndean flooring, herringbone style, certainly sealed the deal in this instance.
Lighting is always important. This new fitted kitchen features recessed strip lighting at practical touch-points around the kitchen. Accenting the kitchen’s good looks, whilst emphasising its practicality.
Funky kitchen gadgets
When it comes to kitchen gadgets (and you know we love those), Wes and Michael’s German-style Fitted Kitchen has a pocket door, concealed but convenient draw sockets, and a retractable shelf for the toaster, inside the larder unit. The photographs probably speak for themselves. But from consult and design, through to final fit; we’re very proud of this project. We wish Wes and Michael many a happy brew in their smart new kitchen, and thank them again for choosing The Gallery Fitted Kitchens.
