This recently fitted kitchen in Kingswinford uses the popular handle-less door style in a modern, on-trend painted finish in matte mussel.
Compac quartz work surfaces
The painted finish has a luxurious look with a smooth to the touch feel. It also offers top quality and performance, as the door is not a vinyl wrap, which could lift or peel in years to come. We complemented this look with Compac quartz work surfaces, upstands and splashback.
Handle-less painted matte mussel fitted kitchen
Quartz is the ideal surface for any modern kitchen as its comes in a sleek 30mm thickness. It’s high non-porous properties mean it is perfect for any kitchen environment. This insures it is great for food preparation and is easy to keep clean. Here the customer chose a cool white to offer a subtle contrast against the matte mussel colour of the door.
We kept the colour scheme neutral by having a light Karndean floor which adds a different tone without being overpowering. In-keeping with the modern feel: the customer chose an undermount sink with drainer grooves cut into the surface. This is to insure a minimal style throughout, and give extra worktop space.
Cost effective alternative
The customer selected an angled base unit on the end of the hob run. As a result, this provided a cost effective alternative to a curved base unit, whilst still offering a softer look than a standard right angled unit.
