This stunning German Rotpunkt kitchen in picturesque Lawnswood, is proof that sleek doesn’t have to mean cold. Designed for Eve and James Metaxas, the design brief was all about blending clean, modern lines with warm, liveable style. Well it’s fair to say this space absolutely nails it.
That modern German kitchen design
The kitchen’s terra grey cabinetry keeps things calm and contemporary, while the midnight blue island brings a bold, confident edge. We carried the luxurious Dekton Trance worktops up into the splashbacks for a seamless, high-end look. Finishing the island with waterfall end panels that instantly catch the eye. Subtle gunmetal accents (from the Quooker tap, to the steel sink and Neff appliance trims) tie everything together perfectly.
It’s all about das detailing:

Wine and dine:
Behind the scenes, there’s a smart utility area keeping clutter out of sight, leaving the open-plan kitchen-diner feeling effortlessly tidy. Add in some ambient lighting and a built-in Kaelo wine chiller, and you’ve got a space that’s as practical as it is gorgeous. Ideal for both busy weekday mornings and laid-back weekend hosting.
It’s another standout kitchen project, showing just how effortlessly modern German design can feel right at home in Wordsley and Kingswinford.
