As is very often the case, the Evans family tasked us with creating a living space that is both spacious, but also welcoming. Being well versed in designing and installing bespoke kitchens in Oldswinford, we were more than happy to oblige. Ultimately, this open-plan kitchen diner needed to serve as the perfect kitchen in which to wine and dine. Speaking of wine, the Evans clan also opted for a sleek wine cooler. A must when hosting those dinner parties in their metro tiled kitchen!

Metro tiles compliment this stunning kitchen
So called because they are modelled on the ceramic tiles that adorned the New York Subway and the London Underground at the turn of the century. These timeless design classics contain either nibbed or bevelled edges. Our rectangular metro tiles add an extra touch of glamour to this already sparkling kitchen remodel.

Using a combination of white quartz and matte graphite worktops: this neutrality paved the way for the addition of bright, modernist artwork. When jazzing up your kitchen’s walls with your favourite art prints, we’re more than happy for you to run them by us. It’s important to avoid information overload, and artwork should compliment not compete with the overall living space’s vibe. Trust us; after all, we did name ourselves The Gallery!
Although we started this metro tiled kitchen refit with a knock-through of the old space, we also employed a few more subtle space saving techniques. Including an ultra-modern flat glass hood is always a smart space saver. But the main stroke of genius (even if we do say so ourselves!) was the lack of any wall units. This kept things sleek, open and uncluttered. This roomier aesthetic creates the visual space for the island centre piece.
We’ll be Franke:
Finally, the delightful Evans family opted for designer Franke brass taps, as finishing touches for the kitchen. This brassy decision resulted in the perfect compliment for the kitchen’s knurled finish brass handles. Known for their diamond-shaped aesthetic, this complex finishing process also provides extra grip.
