Here we’re presenting a Shaker kitchen for clients in Sedgley, Dudley. The Gallery recently designed and fitted this lovely Shaker kitchen; which has a warm, inviting feeling. This is created by the use of oak worktops coupled with oak parquet flooring. We further enhanced this feel by coupling the oak worktops with smooth painted Shaker porcelain doors. The overall look is completed with retro Smeg appliances and a Laura Ashley designer glass splashback.
The brief from our clients here was clear: to create a family diner with room for seating.
To create this large family living space, our experienced fitters removed the dividing wall between the old dining room and kitchen. This then allowed us to design a breakfast bar area. This area has created additional storage and worktop space with a much needed seating area. By using a breakfast bar instead of an island, this left space within the middle of the room for a dining table, sofa and television stand.
