Dedicated family dining area
As part of the brief, the customer wanted to create a more open room for a dedicated family dining area. This consisted of removing the existing back wall of the room and extending the building out. This resulted in giving us space to design a galley style kitchen, with seating area next to patio doors. To ensure the seating area tied in with the rest of the kitchen, we used low-level units with a top-hinged door, which meant the seat also doubled up as storage space too. The client then ordered some bespoke made cushions to sit on top of the box seating to complete the look.
Contemporary Shaker kitchen
The client then wanted a contemporary Shaker kitchen with lots of detail. The use of a smooth-painted Shaker door from The Gallery has allowed the accent colours to really shine here. What’s more, The use of textured ceramic effect worktops with copper accessories and rubbed bronze handles makes a really bold design statement.
